Sony will launch in September two new headsets specially designed for gamers. The DR-GA500 features an FPS mode that uses Dolby Pro Logic IIx decoder with unique Sony Virtual Phones Technology. Another headset called DR-GA200 has less features and therefore will be for those on a smaller budget.

Every headset will come with free copy of Medal of Honor!

On Jul 27th, 2010, EA announced that the band Linkin Park will have their single "The Catalyst" included in the soundtrack of MOH. The single is off their new album A thousand Suns, which will be released in September. August 1st, enthusiasts will get a view of whats to come with the trailer.

Directed by Linkin Parks`Joe Han, the trailer will include a half and half of current military actin and MOH in-game video takes. The trailer will be released one day before radio stations, iTunes and other media will debut the album.

EA is excited at the opportunity to work with the gramy award winning rock band Linkin Park. "Medal of Honor marks the beginning of an innovative new relationship between EA and Linkin Park," said Steve Schnur who is the Worldwide Executive of Music and Marketing for EA.

Seems this will raise the bar for all future EA games. The 11 year run in the World War II eara is now changing towards the current conflicts with their real-solider-based characters. MOH will launch later this year in October.

In a blog posted on the MOH website, an announcement was made on July 30th that all owners of the soon to be released MOH Limited Edition will receive an invite to obtain a beta for the upcoming Battlefield 3.

The beta will be contingent upon availability, and is only available for a short time. More information can be obtained from the MOH website.

BF3 is the latest in the hit FS series from EA and DICE.

There is also another special treat for the MOH Limited Edition buyers of the game for PS3. The Limited Edition release will include Medal Of Honor: Front Line, completely remastered in HD.

The Medal of Honor beta for Xbox 360 was originally supposed to start on June 21 along with the PlayStation 3 and PC versions, but after suffering one delay last week, EA/DICE has announced it's been delayed yet again.
